For Wireless Data Loggers
TBS 40
Thermal Barrier
The TBS 40 thermal barrier is used for applications where data loggers need to be operated in ambient temperatures between +200 and 400 °C. The thermal barrier consists of a stainless-steel square pack with a ceramic insert and stainless-steel lid.
Prior to use, the ceramic material is saturated with distilled water and data logger is placed inside the TBS 40 thermal barrier with only the high temperature sensor(s) exposed through the lid.
TBS 40 provides the following features and benefits:
- A height of 40 mm – perfect for rather low gate openings
- Provides a protection time of 30 minutes at 300 °C – ideal for when a relative short protection time is needed
