Packing Gland for Retorts/Autoclaves
The packing gland is made of AISI 316 medical grade stainless steel and is easily utilized in an autoclave or retort access port. This is done by either using the ½”, ¾” or 1” thread directly or the optional NW40 flange port connections. The design provides a feed of multiple SSA or STC thermocouple sensors, tightly sealed by standard sized rubber packings, offering between 4 and 16 slots. Mainly used in the food industry for feeding thermocouples into retorts.
