For Wired Thermocouple Systems
TTB 35
Thermal Barrier
The TTB 35 thermal barrier is used for applications where data loggers need to be operated in ambient temperatures between +200 and 400 °C. It consists of a stainless-steel cylinder with a ceramic insert and stainless-steel lid.
Prior to use, the ceramic material is saturated with distilled water and the data logger is placed inside the TTB 35 thermal barrier with only the high temperature sensor(s) exposed through the lid.
TTB 35 provides the following features and benefits:
- Diameter/height of 35 mm – perfect for very low gate openings
- Provides a protection time of 20 minutes at 300 °C – ideal for situations where only a short protection period is required
Also, data loggers that are equipped with a SKY Module can be used in conjunction with the TTB 35 thermal barrier, however, a special SKY kit for thermal barriers is required.
