When using the ‘sealing by expansion’ principle, this particular packing gland for measuring temperature inside a standard ampoule is perfect. As a supplement to the GNK frame type packing gland, this accessory provides a trouble free and vacuum tight mounting of rigid or flexible sensors.

Due to the unique design, the packing gland can be mounted directly onto the sensor thread when using rigid sensors or – alternatively when using flexible sensors, the additional finger screw. While simple in design, the fixtures are very effective and do not require tools. Mainly used in the pharmaceutical industry for ampules being processed through freezing, sterilization, etc.
